Rose was being retrained to saddle and although she was quiet to ride and took to it very well, she started to show some discomfort. X-rays were taken in August 2026 and an abnormally shaped navicular in the front right foot was diagnosed.
She snorts and gets upset about sheep and cows and runs around a little when the ride-on mower starts up. She’s also a nervous traveller. She’s wary of most new things but with gentle handling she comes around pretty fast, she’s made massive improvements since she’s been with her retrainer, enjoying grazing out on the lawn, or going for a stroll up the road with the retrainer and her son when they walk the dog.
She’d be fabulous company for someone who had their own property and wanted a horse to hang out with, brush, scratch and spend time with. Rosie will spend endless time with you asking for scratches and pats.
All x-rays and vet reports are available.
