Together for the Standardbred is collaborative project coordinated through Harness Racing Victoria’s Hero program, with a goal to bring together the various standardbred-specific organisations, associations, clubs and breed enthusiasts, along with businesses that wish to support standardbred in their post-racing lives, to work cohesively and pool resources and a shared passion for creating opportunities for standardbreds beyond the track.
Together for the Standardbred initiatives include:
- Hero Ambassador Program, which provides financial support to a selected team of standardbred owner-ambassadors, to contribute towards the costs associated with attending equestrian events and rider-generated content. LEARN MORE.
- Support for Standardbreds, which provides a range of essential services to support standardbreds being rehomed via the Hero Direct Off The Track Program or through an extensive retraining journey with a Hero Retrainer.
- HRV Hero sponsorship of equestrian events and programs which increase participation and opportunities for standardbreds post-racing. APPLY FOR SPONSORSHIP.
