Lucy has been enjoying a relaxed life out in the paddock for the past five years and is now ready to find a kind, loving home for her next chapter.
She is a well-mannered mare with a calm, easygoing temperament and no known vices. Lucy is straightforward to handle—easy to catch, float, shoe and work with on the ground—making her a lovely, low-fuss horse to have around.
Having been retired on a farm, she has been exposed to machinery, vehicles and other animals, and takes it all in her stride. She is not known to be spooky, tending to have a look without overreacting, and has shown no signs of bucking, bolting or other undesirable behaviours.
Lucy has previously recovered from a suspensory injury and has had several years spelling since, allowing her time to rest and reset. With her kind nature and sensible outlook, she would suit someone looking for a quiet, well-handled horse to bring back into light work or simply enjoy as a companion.
A genuine, no-fuss mare ready for a caring home where she can continue to thrive.
