Kyvalley Rider is a lovely 16hh bay gelding with a kind, calm nature and good ground manners. His racing connections describe him as a very genuine horse who is difficult to fault and believe he has a good motor and plenty to offer.
Rider was retired as he was not quite showing the speed required for racing. He has a tendency to transition into a canter a little too easily when he is expected to maintain a trot, but this is not associated with any known soreness or injury. He is simply still learning to stay balanced and organised in his movement.
Rider is quiet and sensible to handle, doesn’t tend to shy or spook, and has been exposed to dogs, farm animals, machinery, vehicles and young children. He has not previously been ridden.
A kind-natured, genuine horse with a good attitude and plenty of potential for someone looking to give an off-the-track horse a new career.
