Huey is a sweet-natured, well-mannered young gelding who has been bred, raised and trained within a small, family-run harness racing stable, surrounded by people who adore him and are committed to ensuring he finds a loving, forever home.
Born in November 2021, Huey stands at approximately 15.3hh and has a calm, quiet and easy-going temperament with no known vices.
He has been exposed to dogs, vehicles, wildlife and noisy farm machinery, all of which he has taken in stride. He ties, floats, catches and handles well for the farrier and vet and is up to date with dental, worming and hoof care.
With no prior ridden training, Huey is a beautiful blank canvas and shows great potential as a future riding horse across a range of disciplines.
Given his limited life experience beyond the stable environment, Huey will be best suited to an experienced home that can guide his re-education. With the right person, this gentle young gelding offers the opportunity to build a rewarding and lasting partnership, as someone’s best mate.
